Just ordered the 20cm Kasumi chefs knife, it arrived quickly and all was well, nice work theknifeshop. The knife itself is a work of art but the packaging is nothing special (important to me since I bought it as a gift), the cardboard sleeve and plastic wrap is much too big for the knife and when I got it the knife had come loose and was free to rattle inside the plastic, not all that impressive for a knife costing £100 . I was also hoping for some kind of gift box, perhaps even a wooden presentation box but that might have been wishful thinking, in all fairness this is a top chefs knife, not a prestige/autographed/limited edition type of knife. Ultimately though this is about the blade, and it's a beauty, sharp as a razor and, given my gifts reception, well worth every penny...
