I've always preferred the old fashioned wooden, string wrapped handle peelers and was not convinced by the early version of this peeler which, whilst it had an extremely sharp blade, was prone to breaking where the blade pivots.
The latest design has overcome this weakness and this is now my peeler of choice. Light and sharp.
